Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams claimed Her Majesty can’t wait to host the Sussex clan this summer.

Mr Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: “It would seem likely that Harry and Meghan will take Archie to Balmoral this year to be with the Queen, especially as this will be a special time for them with Archie born so recently.

“The Queen is able to relax there as the politicians too take a break.

“The country seems to be heading into political chaos which might involve the Queen and she, ever conscious of attending to her red boxes, will enjoy a well deserved holiday as the Brexit storm clouds gather and October 31st looms ever nearer.”

Balmoral is one of the few places royals are able to relax in private away from the media spotlight.

Meghan and Harry are famously fond of their privacy and will be able to relax at Balmoral in peace.

Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson have already been to stay and the Duke of York was snapped attending church with his mother, the Queen there on Sunday.

Balmoral is in many ways a refuge for British royals and is where Prince William and Prince Harry stayed in the direct aftermath of their mother Princess Diana’s death.

Prince Andrew is staying at Balmoral following the death of his controversial friend, convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Mr Epstein was found dead in his New York jail cell on Saturday where he was awaiting trial for child sex trafficking charges.

An FBI investigation has been launched into the disgraced financier’s death.
